Dirt Babies!

We had such a wonderful time learning in science lab this week! Our students made their very own dirt babies! We learned about the plant life cycle, too. We put seeds in our pantyhose and then filled our pantyhose with soil and tied our pantyhose at the top. We placed our plants in our cups and now are waiting for grass "hair" to grow out of our dirt babies! We have special journals that are helping us document our dirt babies growth. We will continue to water our babies and journal their growth. In a few weeks, these babies will come home! I know your sweetie can't wait for you to meet their new dirt baby...would that be a "grand dirt baby" to you?:)

Yee Haw!!!

Rodeo Day proved to be a rip roaring good time! Our little cowboy and cowgirls had so much fun at our Kindergarten Rodeo! They drank cactus juice made from real cactus needles, they ate trail mix and even did a little roping, riding and lassoing! The finished this day with lots of line dancing in our PE dance hall. I think I have the most handsome cowboys and loveliest cowgirls on this side of Texas, don't you agree?

Love Is In the Air!

Our Valentine's Week was full of suspense and excitement! Our students loved creating valentines for their friends (and teacher:) and we ended the week with an afternoon of fun! Thank you all of coming!
